Founded and shipped inside four months in the Bay Area. I ran product, growth, and every customer conversation myself, taking it from first sketch to live users.
Four months is not a long runway, and that was the point. It forced a discipline I now apply everywhere: scope the bet narrowly, put it in front of real users early, and be willing to kill what is not working before sunk cost makes the decision for you.
The biggest lesson was distribution. Building the product is rarely the constraint. Finding the people who want it, long before it is finished, almost always is.
